Leah Poole joined the Community Foundation of the Chattahoochee Valley as the Director of Finance in July 2016. She came to the Community Foundation from Carmike Cinemas where she was serving as Director of SEC Reporting and Mergers & Acquisitions, having joined the company in 2012 as their Assistant Controller.
Leah is a graduate of the University of Florida’s Hough Graduate School of Business, where she earned a Master’s of Business Administration. She also earned a BBA in Accounting from CSU’s Abbott Turner College of Business. She holds her CPA certification in the state of Georgia and is a member of both the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
Leah is originally from Springfield, Illinois, and moved to Columbus in 2000. She is a graduate of Leadership Columbus and currently serves on the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council Board. She is thrilled to utilize her professional experience to make a difference in her community. Leah enjoys spending time with her husband Jim, and their two daughters.
