Operations Manager, Staff

Chemitra Glenn joined the Community Foundation of the Chattahoochee Valley as the Operations Manager April 2023.

Previously, Chemitra served in the U.S. Army. Her experience spans 26 years of military service in positions of progressive leadership responsibility. As a squad leader in 2003, she participated in 3d Infantry Division’s major combat operations to invade Iraq. Since 2003, she has spent nearly 20 months deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan).

Her awards include the Bronze Star Medal and the Order of Saint Maurice (Legionnaire).

A native of Tennessee, Chemitra earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Austin Peay State University. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Chemitra and her husband Nathaniel are the parents of 4 adult daughters.
